We’ve just released one of our biggest Zapier updates yet: 3 new triggers and 7 new actions that significantly expand what you can automate and how Storeganise connects to the rest of your tech stack.

This has been a long time coming. Operators have been asking for richer integrations with accounting tools, CRMs, ERPs, and access control systems. With this update, apps like Exact Online, Pipedrive, WhatsApp, MaintainX, and thousands of others on Zapier become much more useful with Storeganise.

What’s changed

The short version: Zapier can now react to more events in Storeganise, and it can do more with them when they happen.

Three new triggers that fire when

• An invoice reminder is sent

• A unit rental is updated

• An overdue status is removed from a rental

Seven new actions that let you

• Add tasks to invoices, customer profiles, or units

• Add comments to invoices, customer profiles, or units

• Search for unit rental statements (including unpaid balances)

Put together, you get more reactivity, more control, and the ability to build workflows that simply weren’t possible before.

What this looks like in practice

The most common request we hear is around accounting. If you use something like Exact Online, you’ve probably spent time manually syncing invoice and payment data between systems.

That can now run on autopilot.

Invoice created in Storeganise? Zapier pushes the details to your accounting software.

Payment comes in? Zapier updates the record. No copying and pasting. No end-of-week reconciliation. Your books stay accurate without the busywork.

It is the same idea for operational workflows. A customer clears their overdue balance. Previously, you’d notice it, add a note, update a spreadsheet, and maybe remember to check if they’re moving out. Now, all of that happens the moment the overdue status clears. Zapier fires, the comment gets added, your tracker updates, and a follow-up task appears. Four steps. Zero manual work. Nothing falls through the cracks.

FAQs: Zapier integration

Do I need to upgrade my Storeganise plan to use these new Zapier features?

No. All Zapier triggers and actions are available on the standard Storeganise plans. If you already use Zapier with Storeganise, the new features will appear automatically.

Will my existing Zaps break with this update?

No. Existing Zaps continue working as they are. However, you may want to update them to take advantage of the new triggers and actions that can remove manual steps from your current workflows.

What new things can I automate now that weren’t possible before?

A lot more. Popular examples include: Syncing invoice details and payments to accounting tools like Exact Online. Automatically adding tasks or comments to customer profiles, units, or invoices. Updating internal trackers when overdue status is removed. Searching for rental statements—including outstanding balances—for billing or collections workflows.

Can Zapier now write data back into Storeganise?

Yes. This is one of the biggest improvements. Zapier can now add tasks, add comments, and retrieve rental statement data directly inside Storeganise as part of any automation.
